Paper cutting has always been a passion of mine and these 2 above are my favourites for the day. Rob Ryan is a fantastic paper cutter, achieving such delicate designs. His shop can be found in East London but is only open Saturdays and Sundays, well worth a visit. Aoyama Hina is just as talented, and creates her intricate paper cuts with a tiny pair of scissors! She quotes: “ My passion is to create a finest cutoff beyond the level of the very time-consuming needle lace making. I don’t follow traditional but I am trying to create a mixture of the traditional and modern styles and to produce my own world through this super fine lacy-paper-cuttings technique”.
